Your worth is not dictated by your past or the illusion of perfection.

You deserve to feel better. If you are unsure of what to do next to begin to change things, it is time to give yourself the space to focus on what you need. It can be one of the bravest steps to take - giving ourselves the space, time and support of counseling. If we are not intentional about making time to take care of ourselves, how will we improve things?
The road of life presents many twists and turns. Some experiences bring happiness, joy and fulfillment while others may bring anxiety, worry or frustration. At times, these emotions can be overwhelming or lead to thinking/behaviors that negatively impact us or our relationships.
If this sounds familiar, you are in the right place to get the support you are looking for. A positive, therapeutic relationship can help you grow, stretch yourself and tap into your own resiliency...sometimes resiliency that you may have forgotten or didn't know you had.
My goal is to create a trusting, safe and supportive environment where we can work together so you can find meaning and growth, even in the midst of life's challenges. We will cultivate a collaborative environment where positive coping skills, healthy choices, meaningful insights and healing can be pursued. It would be my privilege to partner with you.

As a native of Indiana, I attended Purdue University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I also completed my Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis as I began working in Human Resources. Even though I knew at 15 I wanted to be a therapist, I combined my psychology and business education within "Corporate America" as a Human Resources professional. After more than 15 years in that career, I decided to refocus on my true passion: counseling people in the context of their whole life, not just their career life. When I decided to make that change, I then completed my Master’s degree in Education Counseling at North Carolina State University, concentrating in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I want to invite you & welcome you into an environment that is confidential, accepting and nonjudgemental - creating a space where you can address whatever concerns you may be facing. Life may be challenging at times but the good does not have to be overshadowed by the bad. Regain balance and peace today.
